I was surprised to see Stigmata Martyr in the list, since it's a song he declined to perform for religious reasons for many years. What is the "Peter Murphy Solo Version," and how does it adjust the lyrics to his criteria?

I should have been in Paris right now going back to Pascal's place after the gig... Instead I'm at home thinking Peter can kiss my ass and like hell I would get one of them 1050 tickets in London next week... I hope he gets the flu again this tour...

Just arrived from an intensive weekend. The PM show was just great! The structure was very similar to the Tel Aviv show. Starts with Zikir as an intro, Low Room, Raw Power (this to first songs were not played in the Last Tour), Velocity Bird, Peace to Each, Disapperaing, Silent Headges (With Mark G. Twaite plauing the 12 chord guitar. That seemed strange to me seeing him playing that guitar), The Sweetes Drop, Subway (He didnt't play this song in Tel Aviv), Indigo Eyes, The Prince and Old Lady Shade, Deep Ocean Vast See, Stigmata Martyr (With PM playing an Electric guitar making lots of noise, that seemd strange as well), She's in Parties (not sure), Too Much 21st Century, Uneven and Brittle, A Strange Kind of Love (with Bela Lugsi mix), Kick in The Eye (He didn't played in Tel Aviv), Telegram Sam, Ziggy Stardust, All We Ever Wanted (With Nick Lucero in the Keybooard, PM with the 12 chords guitar and MGT with the electric guitar), Cuts you up (didn't played this song in Tel Aviv), Hurt and Transmission the last song. The structure were more or less like this. It was a mix between the Bauhaus songs, PM Best of and PM last tour songs. The first two songs he didn't play in the last tour. And most of the Bauhaus songs are just new as PM live. They seemed much better now then when PM started his solo carreer in 1985, and decided to played some bauhaus work live. I've got some pictures for you here: http://picasaweb.google.pt/104747622613 ... -L_YSYggE#There are also some videos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJG-k9mWRpkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQUXrI3gBAshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6BB9lcUzewhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnIJuFQADo8Enjoy!

I've seen them on shopping TV, they're only like $20 or something. It's so weird seeing him sing that song without Ash and J by his sides...

http://www.dingwalls.com/This says gig has moved too! Doors: 19:00 Price: £18 Adv Entry: 18+ Room(s): Dingwalls Buy ticketsFlag Promotions presents: Peter Murphy Thursday 05 August 2010 THIS SHOW HAS MOVED FROM THE ELECTRIC BALLROOM AND ALL TICKETS ARE STILL VALID Currently living between Istanbul and New York City, the famed post-punk innovator, sonic alchemist and celebrated founding father of the Gothic movement, has been working on several exciting new projects over the past 2 years, most importantly his long-awaited ninth studio album aptly-titled, Ninth. Produced by David Baron, the set follows: 2004’s Unshattered, Dust (2002), A Live Just For Love (live album) (2001), Wild Birds: 1985-1995 (compilation) (2000), Recall EP (1997), Cascade (1995), Holy Smoke (1992), commercial breakthrough Deep (1990), the seminal Love Hysteria (1988) and the 1986 solo debut, Should the World Fail to Fall Apart. “I have had my Ninth album ready to go for a while now,” Peter explains. “I’ve been playing it live, alongside Bauhaus classics and my own hits, long before the official release and it’s added more stardust to the long shelf life of songs I have under my belt.”
