At the request of Restless records we were asked to keep the upcoming Bauhaus release quiet and being courteous we did so, however due to someone else jumping the gun we feel it is alright to confirm the following: Yes, indeed it's true - Last year Bauhaus recorded a new original song entitled 'The Dog's a Vapour', and it will be released this spring on the Heavy Metal FAAK 2 soundtrack. Thursday January 20, 2000 We now have Peter's confirmed tour itinerary of North America! For those of you just checking in, Peter is touring in support of Wild Birds, a new compilation due out through Beggars of his past recordings. The band members on this tour includes Kevin Haskins (on drums of course), Eric Avery, formerly of Jane's Addiction, on bass, Peter DiStefano, formerly of Porno for Pyros, on guitar and Doug DeAngelis on keyboards. These are confirmed dates, with more to come soon! Check them out in Peter's room. |

Saturday January 8, 2000 We hope you had a great New Years and will start off the year for you with new information on the band. Peter's best of compiliation Wild Birds, will be released in the US on February 22 through Beggars Banquet, so keep an eye out for that! Peter will also be touring starting March through April in the US, but dates are not set in stone yet, so check back for that information. In other related news, Modern Dance Turkey will be performing in London on January 13 and 14. They will be performing a full length piece Afife [the tea house] choreographed by Beyhan Murphy, Peter's' wife. We will put up the advertisement shortly for those of you interested in going. Expect to spot your favorite vocalist in the audience! We also will have a big exclusive for you in the next few weeks, so keep checking back on the site for more information on that.... |
