Some news from Peter in his room on his new solo album.

Friday April 14, 2000

We currently have the Heavy Metal FAAK 2 cd available for pre-order, which has "The Dog's a Vapour" on it - it is the limited edition digipack which has an alternate cover from the one used for the general release. It'll be out on April 18th... so pre-order it now!

Check out Kevin's new project involvement in The Spirit Level in his room and Peter's end of tour blues in his room.

The Peter Murphy Tour 2000 ended last night with a bang (well, with Love Me Tender) in San Diego . This show was also recorded for Bootleg TV. Peter, along with Doug, Kevin, Eric and Peter D appreciates and gives thanks to everyone who came to the shows and showed their support on the tour.

If you were out looking for the American Psycho soundtrack - unfortunately, it has been recalled and will be delayed for two weeks due to copyright issues with one of the songs on the album. If you got a copy of it already, you may have a collector's item on your hands.

Beggars soon will have only 50 copies of the Wild Birds video on the PAL format, so order quickly !

We will have some exclusive information coming at you shortly... so as always, check back.

Tuesday April 4, 2000

Today's the day for releases: Daniel's new song "Trouble" on the American Psycho soundtrack and Peter's new video compilation "Wild Birds" are to be released today. "Wild Birds" is a limited edition release, with both PAL and NTSC versions available.

There have been many false rumours as to Peter playing confirmed shows in South America. If you have tickets for any shows in Chile and Argentina, you have been sold fraudent tickets - if there are any confirmed concerts to be announced, you will hear about them through trusted sources (here or www.petermurphy.info, for example) and not through dodgy ticket sellers. As of now, there are no confirmed shows in South America.

On a much lighter note.... a note from Kevin in his room.

Due to personality conflicts and the temper tantrums of a certain drummer, Kevin will no longer be touring or working with Peter on the Peter Murphy Tour 2000. The search is on for a new drummer, and according to Peter, "one that isn't so petulant and demanding". Matt Sorum, formerly of Guns 'n' Roses and currently in The Cult, looks like he will be sitting in on the tour. Read on in Peter's room for more...
