Upon his return from Montreal where Peter completed writing new material for his new album, he made a guest appearance with Arkin Allen aka Mercan Dede on the July 13th at the Babylon Club in Istanbul, Turkey. Guesting with the Tribal Trio, Arkin Allen's jungle/drum & bass outfit at the 7th Istanbul Jazz Festival, Peter premiered 2 brand new compositions at the club - his first ever performance in his home country. The Festival included luminaries such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed and Natacha Atlas amongst others. Such was the reaction to The T
ribal Trio event, where Peter's friend Natacha Atlas joined him for an impromptu spiritual vocal reverie on the stage at the end of the show, the Turkish national press and the general feedback of this gig proved to be the most critically acclaimed and talked about of the whole festival.

Peter also commented that he was preparing to tour at some point in the near future on a tour with a new and wholly different approach that will include a number of his new material which he is very excited about.

Meanwhile, Peter's new mangement company, Larrikin Management - the Ted Gardener-led Los Angeles company are in place, which Peter is also very happy about. A new recording deal is being sought as we write...

Kevin and Doug DeAngelis have recently completed a new, dark and brooding Messy track, entitled Make You Believe, that is slated for an upcoming movie. For this particular song they enlisted the admirable talents of Jessicka and Clinton Walsh (from Jack Off Jill). Messy has also finished work on a collaboration with Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), that is entitled I Want That. This track is the first piece that is destined for Messy's debut CD. Kevin commented,"I am extremely excited about both of these new tracks, and feel honored to work with artists of this caliber." More information on both of these projects will follow, but if you wish to take a listen, they have just been added on to Messy's site at MP3.com.
