Happy birthday Peter and many more!     Friday July 9, 1999 One year ago today, Bauhaus performed their first show in 15 years at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles, CA. Wednesday July 7, 1999 You may have heard about Danny's guest appearance on the new Botanica album "Malediction", which came out last month. Paul Wallfisch, who produced and engineered tracks on Love and Rockets' "Sweet FA", gathered together some stellar guests on the album, which included not only Danny, but also Kid Congo Powers of Bad Seeds/Gun Club/Congo Norvell fame, Frankie Infante from Blondie, Daniel Glass of Royal Crown Revue and others. There is also a hidden track remixed by Danny of the title song, Malediction and is appropriately called the Bubbleman mix. You can find more on Botanica at their site.     Thursday July 1, 1999 The upcoming movie "The Blair Witch Project" will have a companion cd (Josh's Blair Witch Mix) to the movie with a Bauhaus and a Tones on Tail track . It will have "Kingdom's Coming" by Bauhaus and "Movement of Fear" by Tones on Tail. The soundtrack will be available July 13th through Chapter III Records. The movie was a major buzz at both Sundance and Cannes Film Festival and willl open July 16th. You can read more about the strange story of the Blair Witch Project here.
